Funerals are a time to celebrate the life of someone you love. It is the chance to say goodbye and give thanks for their life, whether it has been short or long. Funerals can bring a great deal of comfort in a time of distress and offer the opportunity to recall happy memories and remember all the things that made your loved one special.

As an independent celebrant I write and deliver ceremonies that are unique, appropriate, and personal. I work with sensitivity and spend time listening to families so that their needs and wishes are met. I capture who the person was and how they lived their life in a ceremony that is warm, sincere and uplifting, and personal and meaningful to you and your family.

A ceremony can be non-religious or it can contain religious or spiritual elements – whatever is appropriate for you and your loved one. Funerals also give friends and family a way to pay their respects through readings, favourite songs or stories and anecdotes about the person who has died. I can help you and guide you in choosing the content for your funeral.

In order to make it as personal and appropriate as possible I meet with you and your family to discuss and plan the funeral ceremony. I then provide on-going advice and guidance leading up to the funeral and deliver a professional and friendly ceremony on the day.

Please feel free to contact me directly, or you can ask your funeral director to contact me on your behalf.
